About This Program

College level programs are designed and developed for both the professors and students to experience Crystal Springs 530-acre nature preserve. Site visits can be customized based on the specific class that students are participating in.  Students working towards environmental careers will gain first-hand knowledge of environmental issues, conservation, and will have the opportunity to take part in data collection and analysis of the Hillsborough River and one of Florida’s Spring Systems. Students leave Crystal Springs with a deeper understanding of environmental issues and will be able to continue to develop the skills necessary to make informed and educated decisions.
