About This Program

Elementary programs are offered for students in 3rd-5th grade. Research has shown that outdoor learning has valuable outcomes for child development. Outdoor learning improves child development, fosters their imagination, elevates their senses and promotes happiness. By immersing students in our 530-acre nature preserve, students will have the opportunity to improve their emotional, intellectual, and behavioral development. All field trips will include an adventurous hike that encourages strong observation skills through our amazing habitats and a visit to our spring-fed pool to learn about where this precious resource comes from. Teaching students about the environment at an early age will help them foster the skills they need to make eco-friendly choices and live sustainable lives in the future. Our team of educators want you to have the best experience possible! If your students are studying a specific environmental topic in class, our educators would be happy to bring that topic to life with hands on activities and outdoor experiences.
