About This Program

Our middle school programs have been designed to get students physically in touch with nature through hands on activities and outdoor learning experiences. Middle school students will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, build self-confidence, and develop team-work skills, all while navigating a 530-acre nature preserve. Our programs will push students outside of their comfort zone and challenge them to make environmentally conscious decisions when they leave our preserve. While visiting Crystal Springs Preserve students will have the opportunity to hike our boardwalks while being immersed in our wilderness habitats. We can customize a program to meet your needs, if requested!
