River Biodiversity Extended
Program Information
Get ready to get wet while exploring more of the Hillsborough River! Students will participate in an expanded hands-on biodiversity survey, catching and observing the abundance of invertebrates and vertebrates that live in different parts of the river corridor. Along the way, they will learn how water travels between the springs and the aquifer, gaining a deeper understanding of Florida’s unique freshwater systems.
**Student must wear closed toed shoes that can get muddy and wet.**
NO CROCS OR FLIP FLOPS!!!!
Reservation Information
Your reservation at Crystal Springs includes the choice of two - 1.5 hr. programs and a half-hour lunch.
Please plan to be at Crystal Springs Preserve for 3.5 - 4.0 hours depending on your bus schedule.
Programs start at 9:30 am with a planned departure between 1:00 pm or 1:30 pm.
We can accommodate 90 students (3 groups) per day.
A minimum of two adult chaperones per group is required to book.
